Email Testing

Local Development

During local development, all emails are captured by Mailpit running in Docker. No emails are sent to real addresses.

Accessing Mailpit

When Laravel Sail is running, access the Mailpit web interface at:

http://localhost:8025

All emails sent by the application will appear in the Mailpit inbox immediately.

Staging/Production Environment

Emails in non-local environments use Mailtrap for testing.

Accessing Mailtrap

Credentials

Mailtrap credentials are not stored in this documentation. Check the team's password manager or contact an admin for access.

Steps

1. Go to Mailtrap.
2. Log in with the team credentials from the password manager.
3. Choose the inbox associated with your environment.
4. Open the inbox to view sent emails.
